Shipping & Returns
Short version: store credit within 14 days, you cover return postage, and there is no restocking fee. If a piece arrives damaged or not as described, you get a full refund — always, and separately from everything below.

Every piece is a single garment, so orders ship as one parcel and nothing is ever backordered — which also means the $10 covers your whole order whether it is one hat or four pieces. If something sells out between your adding it to the bag and checking out, the order is cancelled and refunded in full.
Canada
Free Drop ships to Canada. Rates are calculated at checkout from the actual weight and destination, so what you see is what it costs — no flat international rate quietly overcharging a hat.
Any duties or import taxes are the buyer's responsibility and are not collected at checkout. Every parcel is declared honestly as used clothing at the price paid — Free Drop will not under-declare a value or mark an order as a gift, so check what your province charges before you order rather than after.
Everywhere else
Not yet, and that is a deliberate choice rather than a lack of interest. Postage from Los Angeles to the UK or Japan runs high enough to make a $45 hat absurd, and a return from that distance costs more than most pieces are worth — which sits badly with a store selling one of everything.
That will open up. In the meantime, if you are outside the US or Canada and there is a piece you want, get in touch and it gets quoted properly. Enough of those and the decision makes itself.
Returns
The policy
- Store credit, not a cash refund.
- 14 days from delivery to start a return.
- You pay return shipping.
- No restocking fee.
- Pieces must come back in the condition they arrived in, unworn beyond trying on.
Why credit rather than a refund
Free Drop sells one-of-one vintage. When a piece comes back it does not become dead stock — it goes straight back into inventory and relists, usually inside the same drop cycle. Credit keeps that working, and since there is always another drop coming it converts a return into something you actually wanted instead. It is the honest trade for a business that carries one of everything.
There is no restocking fee because a restocking fee is a small charge that generates a large argument, and it sits badly with a brand that publishes every flaw on every piece. Return postage is yours because that is the standard in small vintage, and it is the thing that keeps casual returns from eating the margin on a $45 hat.
Damage and misdescription
Full refund, no argument, no time pressure. If a piece arrives with damage that was not disclosed, or the measurements do not match what the product page said, that is Free Drop's error. You get your money back and the return postage covered. This sits outside the credit policy entirely.
What is not returnable
- Disclosed flaws. Everything visible in the photos and named in the condition notes is priced in and not grounds for a return.
- Anything worn beyond trying on, altered, or washed.
- Returns started after 14 days.
Sizing is the return you should not need
The most common reason vintage goes back is fit. Chest pit-to-pit, length, sleeve and a fits-like call are published on every product page before you buy — see Sizing for how to use them, and Condition & Measuring for how they are taken. If a measurement is missing or you want another one, ask before ordering. It is a faster answer than a return.
Starting a return
Reply to your order confirmation within 14 days of delivery with the order number and which piece is going back. You will get return instructions and, once it arrives and is checked, credit issued to the email on the order.
