Got Something?
Free Drop buys pieces outright. If you have vintage golf or technical sportswear from roughly 1994 to 2008 sitting in a closet, send photos and you will get an honest answer — including when the answer is that it is not worth much.
What Free Drop is looking for
- Nike Golf from the Tiger era — polos, windbreakers, vests, hats, roughly 1998 to 2005.
- Oakley, especially anything with Software or Thermonuclear labelling.
- Nike ACG — jackets, fleeces, vests, long sleeves.
- Polo Golf and RLX, plus period Stussy, Salomon and Mizuno.
- Anything with a named fabric technology on the tag and a date to match.
Condition matters less than you would think. A great piece with honest wear is more interesting than a dull piece in perfect shape.
The photos that actually help
Four shots, flat, in daylight, no filter:
- The front, laid flat and square.
- The back.
- The neck tag — close enough to read.
- The inside wash tag — close enough to read the fibre content and country of origin.
The two tag shots do most of the work. They are how a piece gets dated, and without them any answer is a guess. Add a fifth shot of any flaw.
This is not consignment. Free Drop does not list other people's pieces on their behalf. It buys outright, pays once, and takes on the risk from there. If a piece is a fit you get an offer; if it is not, you get told why.
